From Belmopan...
That Atlantic 97L appears to be a small patch of ITCZ swell-up, but I do not see any rotation, in fact there is a second equal size patch just to the south of it, also not rotating. Presently 96L is off the NOAA screen, that is still too close to Africa to see.
But much closer to us, right in the western Caribbean, there is another mass of rain producing cloud. It is rather patchy, I can't describe too much because NOAA which was working earlier this morning has gone AWAL, I was lucky to get what I did. But there was more weather coming down from Florida, and now there is tropical high level from the SW, clashing with this and the Caribbean easterly air, causing many patches of rain. Some came over Belize last night, helped by an ITCZ flair-up near PG, causing some heavy rain. That rain in Toledo is now easing up, but there are still some odd patches of rain around, then it will get dryer, but later there could be more rain showers.
Looks like today could be a mixed bag of sunshine, cloud and rain showers.
