From Belmopan...
Overcast conditions continue in central and parts of southern Belize. There is something odd occurring, yesterday morning and again this morning, a a bubble of something, possible the "Tiger" wind has been causing a line of cloud to form just off the Belize Coast. See the dotted blue line. . . . . I suspect this is the cool Tiger wind meeting the Caribbean wind to produce this cloud, which was probably also the cause of the rain yesterday, which was more persistence in the Cayo area. The Caribbean wind with a few patches of small clouds is coming in directly from the East, but there is an overlying higher wind from the WNW which is causing larger areas of potentially rain bearing clouds, but it is causing these areas to appear to be coming down from the NE. A case of clouds developing in a different direction than either of the air flows causing them.
I expect middle parts of Belize to be overcast for much of the morning or longer, and the south, but large areas of sun from time to time, at present north and central south of Belize have thin or no cloud cover, more sun this afternoon, but there could be some rain.
