From Belmopan...
After last nights rain and the general multi-ITCZ swell-ups all over the place, I think we can consider this the beginning of the Rainy season even if, over the next 9 days the actual rainfall does not match the required conditions, that is I recorded 22.1 mm last night, so we would need another 10mm today and 7 of the following 9 days to be rainy days.
Generally fairly low ITCZ activity in our area, but there is a small area over southern Toledo, so there is probably rain down there. Only 0.9mm yesterday in Belmopan and only 0.8mm so far today. That storm is now going up into Texas. There is a fair amount of high level cloud, which is giving significant cloud cover.
I expect today to be fairly similar to yesterday, a fair bit of cloud, some sunshine, a small chance of rain.
The Satellite picture screwing up much of the time
presently, causing that grey area.
