I was wondering how the island has faired after Arthur. I read that there were over 60 boats sunk. I will be arriving in a few weeks and was wondering if the excursions are still going on? I was hoping to do Cave tubing and maybe Lamanai. I would guess that snorkeling will be ok. Any info anyone? Oh..and the roads to the Belize zoo? How is that?

I would think that the rivers are too high for cave tubing.
Although most of the boats have been raised many need to repair or replace the motors and there is a big backlog. So, I wouldn't say things are back to normal. But it is amazing what a day makes - so who knows what it will be like in two weeks.
Come on down and enjoy what is.

Cave tubing is back on. Just spoke with some visitors last night that confirmed the activities were up and running.

Of course all of that can change in 2 weeks. Tons of other fun activities if one or another needs to be cancelled.
