A guy I work with knew the dad since he was a young kid.(the one saving his daughter) Said that he was a great guy, never had a bad word to say about anyone. Still waters run deep... and yes.. I would have done the same thing the father did trying to save his daughter. Only thing is, I don't think the body would have been recognizable if I had been the one giving justice to the perp..
The man defended his daughter - that is ALL he intended to do. The rest was accidental. The "justice" was not the rapists's death - the Justice was in the wisdom of not convicting the father.
Diane has a point. The man was distraught not only that his daughter was raped but that the man he just pummeled was dying as well. Justice is in the fact that the dad did not get charged. I would have waited to call 911, just to be sure.
