Talkin' to myself and feelin' blue or is that down. Well, in any case -

I got this titled email from Central Market. Those of you in one of the special 4 towns they are located in might know this very special grocery store. I am a Central Market junkie!!! laugh I head down there with an extra large ice chest and load up....

They have sooooooo many different types of veggies and fruits! If you can catch them for the short time they are there, which I think is in August, get a little bit of the champagne grapes. Teniney little things and just delicious! And this from someone who isn't a big grape fan. The cheese wall is incredible! I fill the deep freeze with bread from the bakery - well - I have to move over all that dog food to make room but I squeeze it in there. Traveling in the northwest and in the northeast we had no trouble finding really wonderful and different and even elegant things to eat at many markets, very available. Don't understand why here you cannot come across a great little shop with a REAL deli, some great cheese and bread AND a bottle of vino. I guess they feel like they should all still cater to the red-necks. smile

Hey now... I've been here for over 30 yrs.... I am virtually speaking of my own kind when I talk about rednecks. Virtually... Ernie - please see the other thread in which I extended the olive branch. I do have to say though - for some reason everytime you speak to me I feel as though I am 8 yrs old and being grumpily spoken to or yelled at by my grandfather. NO, that has nothing to do with your age, Jeeze. Grandfather was 6.5' tall and an imposing site. Very scary stuff indeed. None of the kids ever crossed him.

So there...probably more than you wanted to know but???

Malibu, a word of advice... We mostly ignore Ernie around here. Basically, just humor him and shake your head yes... eek
