Thanks to those who let me know that the board is back to normal...or as close to normal as you all can get at least :p ...after being taken over by the nasties (don't worry I'm not going to go all 'Kitty' on you :rolleyes: )

I have been home for a month and I am still totally depressed. We had a great 2 weeks in San Pedro with my sister and her husband but next year it's going to have to be a month!

I did my open water referral dives with Protech (an A1 organization ) and, after much ado about nothing, managed to get certified and dive Hol Chan. I'm still amazed!!!

While we were diving, my Sis and Mr Sis went to Lamani with Tanisha and were blown away by what a excellent tour Daniel provided. Unfortunately, 2 days later our tour was rained out...just one more reason to go back.

Mr Hon and Mr Sis had a great day of fishing with Jerry Ack, a fantastic guide and really nice guy. Mr Hon caught a baracuda and between them they caught enough snapper for 2 huge dinners for all of us.

Once again, it seemed that the cheap, local food at The Reef, Papi's, Waruguma, Ambergris Delight, Central Park vendors etc. was waaayyy better than the pricey stuff. We didn't make it to BC's for the Sunday bbq though...more unfinished business

It was great to put faces to a few board names. Over the next many years in San Pedro I hope to meet you all. Time to go make a rum punch and feel sorry for myself...314 days...sigh! Poor, poor me

Marty put one of my pics up as Belize Picture of the Day on Feb 25th.

I had hoped to put an album up on Yahoo but I've got fairly slow connection and a 5 megapixel camera so it takes forever to upload pictures. If anyone can tell me how to make the files smaller, I'd appreciate knowing.

If you are using XP there is a slick little powertoy
available called "image resizer" that helps,

Richard, I've downloaded the resizer. That is one handy little tool :p Photo uploads here I come...although it's going to have to wait til tomorrow. Mr Hon gave me a Very Stupid Cold (any downloads for that problem? ) so I'm drugging myself and going back to bed.
