I want to retire to Belize and am trying to figure out where to live.

Is there any area that has lower humidity than other areas?

Ambergris Caye has the least rain and the most sun.
As you move south the annual rainfall increases a lot.

ALSO - my daughter noticed that town core got a lot more rain than those of us north of the bridge. She surmised that perhaps that is the reason the town is located where it is.
Since living a little further north I have also noted that there is a strip here in Tres Cocos that gets a lot less rain than just north or just south of us.
Very interesting weather patterns here.
By the same token some wells never run dry while the next door neighbors do every year. Very interesting (and as Arnie would say) but not funny.
