Belize, my beloved country, the air is so fresh and clean, the moonlit skies with stars so bright, our rainbow colored seas, the heat of the sun, the warmth of the night, the morning breeze with birds singing on the trees.
Belize, my beloved country. Let us look at nature's beauty all around us, count all the good things God has done for us, through our trials and temptations, happiness, sadness, joy and laughter.
There are so many good things about our country that we must be thankful for. Belize, my beloved country. Now, that we've lived to see it through the year 2003, let us live together in peace and harmony.
We should be more concerned about each other. Let us bring union instead of division, love instead of hate, humility instead of pride, which applies to both ladies and gentlemen.
A transformation will be made by God in the human mind. And hearts will be renewed by divine grace and love, modify the character, govern the impulses, control the passion, subdue the enmity, and enable affection. We will become a people with a new future, a new vision, and a new hope.
