Our trips to SP seem to take so long to happen and then are over much too soon. This trip was just as wonderful as the lastbut somehow they seem to keep getting better! We did so many fun things this trip I could go on and on but will just hit on the highlights

Rambo, Islenutt and I met up at the Dallas airport and pestered Ernie while we waited for our connecting flight to Belize City. After getting through immigration and customs, we headed out to the sunshine and met up with our transport to Cahal Pech.

If anybody is thinking of a trip inland, I would strongly recommend staying at Cahal Pech. The service they provided us was incredible. Everyone we encountered was wonderful and made us feel right at home. We had a great dinner that night and started gearing up for our day trip to Tikal the next morning. Again, if you have any interest in Mayan ruins, you have to see "the Manhattan" of the Mayan world. We had a great escort into Guatemala and a very knowledgeable guide once we reached Tikal. The entire experience in San Ignacio was a pleasure. On our way back to Belize City on Friday, we made a stop at the Belize Zoo. A visit to the zoo is something that should be on everybody's "must do" list. I think their motto is "the best little zoo in the world" and they are right.

After our stop at the zoo, it was off to the municipal airport to head out to San Pedro. After we got settled into our room, we headed out to buy some groceries. Isle knew of a great market in town and we grabbed a cab and headed out. Got our supplies for the week and started getting ready for dinner with the Otters and the CBTs. Dinner at Wild Mangos was great as usual but our dining companions made it all the more special. Meeting up with friends, old and new, always make our trips so much fun!

Bill and Becky came in on Saturday and we tried to meet them at the airstrip with a cold Belikin but we missed them by just a few minutes and were forced to drink the cold beer ourselves. I know it is a sacrifice, but we are always willing to take one for the team! Saturday night we met up with lots of message boarders and skydivers at the Welcome Dinner put on by Reaper, et al. Blue Water Grill has wonderful food and service and certainly didn't disappoint this time! MMMMM lobster!

On Sunday, Rambo and I made our tandem jump. The jump was another incredible experience and our hats are off to Tsunami Skydiving for auctioning off these jumps and providing support to Holy Cross and all the other well deserving recipients they made donations to. Headed over to the poker tournament at Pedro's afterwards and finally got some of Walter's delicious Garlic Shrimp Pizza..YUMMMMM. I could eat that every day and just think how safe I would be from vampires!

We got the opportunity to visit Sun Diver resort with Mr. and Mrs. Pug for some snorkeling, diving and BBQ. I cannot tell you how much fun we had. A big THANK YOU to the Pugs for being such wonderful hosts. Although I am not a big fan of snorkeling, Rambo loves to dive and he had the opportunity to make a dive that afternoon and again the next day with Coral Divers Belize. He can't say enough nice things about this operation. The guide, Genie, was very professional and knowledgeable and just plain fun! If any of you are looking for a great guide for diving, snorkeling, fishing, or tours, you really should try them. www.coraldiversbelize.com

We also had a trip to Caye Caulker, spent some time on a Hobie Cat (thanks Colly and Maya!), had an incredible breakfast at Changes in Latitudes (thanks Cindy and Renita) and even rented a couple of bicycles to do some exploring. As always, we just had a blast! It was great to spend time with some old friends and we had the pleasure of making some new friends. As soon as we leave, we always start thinking about and planning the next trip! After all, I have to get my garlic shrimp pizza fix ! laugh

I want to join and thank Tim and Jane for the great boat ride trip to Sun Diver, a very pretty place. I didn't snorkel, dive or BBQ there, but the margaritas and tequila were just fine!

Dita, good to meet you and hubby - sounds like another great time!

Love Dita and Rambo -- what a hoot!

Thanks for my stamp Dita -- I've put it to good use on nearly every BS document that crosses my desk. With all the acronyms I deal with nobody knows WTCBF I'm talking about -- it's great!

A pleasure to FINALLY meet you two. You wore us out!
