Where is best to do open water diving course on the island?

Paradise Down!

is there anywhere else except paradise down? i know those guys are great and amazing what they do (good looking into the bargin!)but im just looking at various options

There are four dive shops on the island:

Frenchies Diving Services
Paradise Down Scuba
Belize Diving Services
Big Fish Dive Center

All have excellent reputations. You might want to make a choice based on which is available to start a class on the date you wish to start.

We have found that Belize Diving Services is more flexible with class starting dates.
