Around five-thirty Wednesday evening, the lifeless body of fifty-six-year-old Canadian national, Barry Lee Waskosky, was discovered inside his condominium at Reef Village Resort. Police responded immediately and found his nude body lying face up in the living room. Blood was found on the floor and there was a wound to his face. His body was already in a state of decomposition. He was last seen alive four days prior to the discovery by resort personnel who became concerned when they didn't see him around. But San Pedro police are treating the incident as a case of sudden death, until a postmortem determines the cause of his demise. Waskosky had been living at the resort for a couple months before his death.

Wounds to the face and lying face up? Sudden death? Hmmm. It should be treated and investigated as a crime until proven otherwise but they dont investigate deaths of foreigners so much.

Why does there always have to be a conspiracy theory? Maybe there was blood on the corner of a coffee table and a messed up rug that he might have tripped over... "until a postmortem determines the cause of his demise"
Not correct police procedure. It should be treated as a crime until autopsy says otherwise. How would you ever go back and collect evidence or do investigation if autopsy says it was homicide? No conspiracy, just bad police work.

If you know for a fact that this is the case in this case then you're right but if you're just making assumptions you're just making assumptions...

Simond, Mike is correct that any unexplained death like this by proper police procedures is considered a crime until proven different. I've worked at several fatal accident scenes which were considered crime scenes until we could prove differently. That is the way it works where I'm from.
