This morning I booked a R/T ticket between ORD and BZE for $367 on American Airlines!! My heart nearly stopped when I saw that price. The same routing hasn't been much below $700 for the last few months.

Same thing out of LAX this morning. Unfortunately for me AA is not running this special out of Houston. At least not yet. Hopefully soon.

American has just put the entirety of Central America on attack against United. Here's what we found from San Francisco (prices should be similar from all United hubs listed above)
Liberia, Costa Rica (LIR) - $351
San Jose, Costa Rica (SJO) - $354
Roatan Island, Honduras (RTB) - $328
Panama City, Panama (PTY) - $370
Belize (BZE) - $367
San Salvador, El Salvador (SAL) - $365
Guatemala City, Guatemala (GUA) - $361
Managua, Nicaragua (MGA) - $378
Tegucigalpa, Honduras (TGU) - $346
San Pedro Sula, Honduras (SAP) - $332
We believe these city pairs are available from every United hub listed above. It is possible certain city pairs might not exist for a particular hub!
The only city in Central America with American service that we didn't see a deal was San Pedro Sula. If we missed any cities, please correct us. Thanks.
(For those who are not in an United hub, but American hub, we reported over the weekend that Delta was attacking American fares to San Jose, Costa Rica from Phoenix, Dallas, Miami, Charlotte and Philadelphia for $379)

I'm planning to arrive around the 1st of July. I need to use up some frequent flyer miles on AA, so I'm checking it daily! We are finally making our permanent move, so I can be flexible with the dates.

If I'm reading it correctly, the link in the above post states tickets must be purchased by May 19th. I just tried to book flights today on many different dates and the lowest fare was $700+.....same as usual.

Did anyone else have any luck today with these low fares?

Yup, I checked routes above and no good deals at all...

My dates are July 26 to August 6.

Everything from Seattle sucks..........always has...........

Just checked flights from MIA to BZE on American, $594 Round trip down from $630 last week.
