We enjoyed seeing a rather large Manatee feeding yesterday while crusing through one of the southern channels of Ambergris Caye.
This was the first time we have ever seen a Manatee on Ambergris.

Lucky buggers.
One of my friends said she was snorkeling from her pier one day and came across a manatee - she lives a few miles south of town.

That is really neat.
Wow, that is cool!

When we were taking off from the island in late November, we saw lots of sea turtles swimming everywere near the southern end. We that that was pretty neat too.
