They are considered 'Globally Threatened', a term used to describe their status in the world, but Belize is full of them.
They have found a safe place here.
I've always been surprised that the sport of hunting isn't popular in Belize.
I took this near Barrys house literally hundreds roam free there and unmolested except for the jaguar, and i see that as natural beauty as well.
