I was a bit interested in Willie T's post about barter, but am not interested in pursuing anything like that. What our group is doing, is having a reunion after 20 some years. Since most of us met/lived/bonded in the Tennessee area, I am planning on bringing some Tennessee Bourbon with us, more symbolic than indulged.

Are their restrictions that will prevent us from doing tins?

Please advise,

Kathy

Hi K and J,
I read in the import/export laws that each person is allowed 1 liter. However, this came from the internet(and I don't believe much I read on it) and is not real advice. Maybe someone who lives there or has travelled can give us the real scoop. Please lend us your knowledge y'all.

What the customs people neglect to mention is that 1 liter is free-no duty.
You can bring 100/1,000/10,000 liters if you want to pay the duty. It's not much on a few extra bottles.
