Hi everyone,

My fiance and I have planned our honeymoon to AC from Oct 4-11th. We are staying at Portofino. Any "must see or do" ideas from those who have spent time there before.

Hello there. Spent several days at Portofino in July. Very nice place.

AC is a VERY laid back place. This is what you need to know: bring a book in case it rains, rent a golf cart (gas since you are so far up on the North End), bring a sports bra, go snorkeling, only pack 1/2 of what you think you need in the way of clothes. Literally all you need are flip flops. No dressy things here. My husband did not put a shoe on his foot from the time we got to portofino till it was time to get on the plane back to the mainland.

Relax and have a GREAT time.

Hey Johnboy: Wish I could fit it in to go to AC this Saturday! Continental is running a special: 15,000 miles and about $60 will get you roundtrip airfare for a quick 4 day trip from Houston!!!

Ah well....

Shark Ray Alley, a trip to CC and lunch at Rasta Pasta, BC's BBQ on Sunday, Fidos, Hammock House, Cat 7, Micky's for a burrito or ox tail soup, Casa Picaso, Capricorns, Blue Water Grill, Calientes, strollin the beach North to South, fishin, loungin, meeting as many people as you can, ENJOY! laugh
Sooooooooooooo many options and so little time...

To denverdan or anyone else that can answer this - Is BC the full name of the place for Sunday BBQ and where is it? Is there a better map web site where the location of these places (that denverdan mentioned) are shown? We are always on the lookout for good watering holes, etc.

San Pedro is very small, you will not have any problem finding anything once you are there. Yes, BCs is all the name there is, right next door (south) of Sunbreeze Hotel. Left foot in the water your going south. Right foot in the water your going north. Enjoy !

Thanks for the info. It's always hard to figure out where north and south are away from home. Especially after visiting various watering spots. cool laugh
