I'm arriving in AC on the 11th and would like info on the following: Best fishing guides (and should a trip be booked in advance), Water clarity, Mosquito problems, Caribbean Villas and its beach, and most romantic evening events, sites, etc.

Also, would a boat trip or plane trip be recommended from the mainland to the island?

The only guide I fish with is Omar Arceo. I've been down three years in a row fishing with him. He specializes in fly fishing for Permit and Bonefish. If that is what you want he is your man. He also does reef fishing and such but is usually booked flyfishing. Don't know how busy he is in August but he could recommend others who could take you out. Book in advance if you can.
