It was just for the day as the Garifuna Settlement day celebration was held in the park.

Due to work being carried out by WASA, we are experiencing long traffic delays at peak times into and out of town by Tropic Air. Please allow extra time for your journey and follow the wardens instructions.

This time of year the town is very busy, please take extra care while walking around town. If you have small children with you and there is no sidewalk, please keep the children safe by holding their hand and make them walk along the edge of the street not in the street.keep yourself between the traffic and your child. The traffic dept reminds the general public that Barrier Reef drive is closed to ALL vehicular traffic on Friday, Saturday and Sunday between the hours of 6:00pm and 6: 00am, from Buccaneer street to Fidos. Please make sure you remove your vehicle from this area before the barriers are locked. Thank you.
