My Kids have a basic PADI qualification, but haven't dived for 2 years. Can anyone out there recommend a sympathetic dive school that will keep a close eye on them when we come to Amber in August. We'll be staying at the Victoria House, so close to there is even better. Thanks.

BillyW, I would feel comfortable recomending any of the dive operations in San Pedro. I am sure most of the people will recomend whoever they dove with. As a dive master, I can tell you that it is our first responsibility to not take you on a dive that exceeds your experience level. In order to do that, it is important that you communicate to the dive operator what your level of experience is and make it clear that if he does not have a dive that meets that level,you prefer to wait or find someone that has that to offer. Talk to Rene Bradley at VH when you get there.He does the dives out of their dive shop and he is excellent. We were new divers and dove with him and his brother, Jacinto and they were very careful, responsible and took their job very seriously. Lalo at the dive shop will hook you up!
