On Ambergris Caye this morning the wind if from the North at 10 placing the reef in the islands lee.
Its a cool 75f. with an expected high of 86. The sea around the island is calm but choppy as you get away from the lee.

From Belmopan...

The actual max and min temperatures have not changed for some days, but the feel effect is certainly significantly cooler as we continue to get cool air from the north. Although the Caribbean wind is from the NNE, the clouds we can see are from almost due north this morning and the surface wind from last night, is still the cool "Tiger" winds from the SW. But the high tropical cloud is streaming up from the south. This is continuing to cause rain out over the sea, but close to our shores, which usually results in rain showers on land later in the day.

So all this variability indicates we will have significant sunshine, but a lot of cloud and later a period of rain showers cross parts of the land, mainly the north and central parts.
