Take a moment to think of and pray for those being affected at this time and soon to be affected by Hurricane Paloma. By the grace of God it isn't us.
Explosive strengthening - now 140 mph. Little Cayman and Cayman Brac. Last night when Amanda posted it was a cat 2 - by morning a cat 4. That's why we all pay attention even when things "seem" just fine ..........
And in Haiti things just went to hell too.
So sad.
Our sea state this morning is unusually calm with that gentle northern breeze. Some rollers are hitting the beach now and then but not so you would really notice. Good diving weather.
A northern breeze always causes the viability to skyrocket.
Cayman Brac got hit with Paloma's eye-wall and 16.5 inches of rain. Yikes.
that makes you Yupikom also ;-)
Good to see you guys visiting the LJ site.
Its a lot of fun for me.A window to the outside world, the 'Freinds' stream is one of the most interesting things I've ever experienced on the net.
Yupikom doesn't translate well,
but it has a lot of potential as being a great new word.
