Bike is probably the best way to see things but a golf cart is fine and you can carry more supplies.

xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx. The road goes on several more miles, with some bad surfaces/mud and the occasional flood right across the road. If you leave town straight after lunch it isn't difficult to get all the way to the end and back before dark, so long as you don't mind getting muddy and you don't fatigue easily.

But remember Murphy's law - punctures always happen in the rain, when the wheel is covered in mud, probably when you're in a flood, when there's no-one else around, when it's starting to get dark, and certainly when you're already exhausted. And of course you don't have the right tools/patches/spare tube. Take waterproofs even on the best day, and one or two decent lights that you can actually see your way by in case you end your day by wheeling your cycle slowly with a flat tyre.

But otherwise, have fun!

If you don't feel energetic, a gas-powered golf cart is OK but pretty slow. The ideal is to rent a trails-type motorcycle, with knobbly tyres. Scooters have small wheels and smooth tyres, and you may well end up falling off.

Looking at the size of that Croc it amazes me that ANYONE would get that close to dangle chicken. Your pictures are beautiful Simon.

Are there croc's on the south tip of AC, I was hoping to do some early morning wade-beach fishing from a golf cart on that end but seeing the croc has me wondering if it's safe?

Follow the power line raod and it will take you all the way to the end. Be careful going through puddles. Stay to side and go slow. There are no splash guards so you can eaisly drown out your cart. If you do, raise the seat dry off as much as you can and wait!!!
Good trip and I was told that fishing is good at the south tip.
