I was wondering the same thing myself. The biggest I've ever seen on Caye Caulker was about 6 ft.

Yes, I've seen it last year,its all of 6'. The guy at the dump said it eat his pitbull !

I saw a six footer a few years ago south of the airstrip. Several of us on our bikes rode up on it. We stopped and it just sat there....slid off into the swamp which we were pretty happy about!

There are many.They are neutral about us. Attitude seems to be: not their prey -can't mate with it-doesn't exist.
