Our Policy
Golf Cart Rules & Reservations Policy
San Pedro Golf Cart Rules
• Whenever someone is renting a golf cart, they MUST PRESENT A VALID DRIVERS LICENSE
• The legal age to drive any Moncho’s Golf Cart in the country of Belize is 17 years or over. (parents should not let their children drive the golf carts, it is against the law)
• NO DRINKING AND DRIVING
• The driver must carry his/her Driver License at all times when driving.
• No over-loading of Golf Carts. 4 seaters – 4 persons, 6 seaters – 6 persons.
Vehicles should be driven with the lights on after 6.00 pm
Front Street Rules
• From the 1st to the 15th of the month, parking should be done on the right hand side coming from south.
• From the 16th to the ending of the month, parking should be done on the left hand side coming from south.
• ALL PARKING TICKETS ARE RESPONSIBILITY OF THE RENTER, NON REPORTED PARKING TICKETS WILL BE SUBJECT TO AN ADDITIONAL $40.00 BZD CHARGE.
Please note that when crossing the bridge is a fee of $10.00 BZD round trip.
Please be informed that all carts are to be locked at all times when the cart is not in use. INSURANCE DOES NOT COVER THEFT.
Mandatory liability insurance is $4.00 USD per day, optional insurance that covers theft, mechanical body damage to the cart is additional $5.00 USD a day.
Deductible for optional insurance is $500.00 USD
CARTS ARE NOT MADE TO TRAVEL OVER WATER OR MUD DEEPER THAN ONE FOOT. ANY DAMAGE CAUSED AS A RESULT OF DRIVING THROUGH MUD OR WATER IS RESPONSIBILITY OF THE RENTER.
Reservations Policy
We advice all our customers during high season to prepay or make reservations.
Our prepaid policy is to send a Visa or Master Card.
The reservation policy is as follows
1. All reservations starting from a 24 hour rental will need to leave a 50% deposit of the total cost of the rental requested
2. Full refund of deposit if reservation is cancels 10 days or more before the rental date.
3. No refund if the reservation is cancelled less than 10 days before the rental date.
4. For the reservation we request a Credit Card number, expiration date and ccv ( CCV number is the last 3 digits on the back of your credit card on the right hand side)
We accept Visa, and Master Card
All deliveries outside of Town require an additional fee for the ferry crossing.
