American Crocodile Education Sanctuary is a Private Wildlife Refuge & Crocodile Sanctuary in Punta Gorda, Belize. ACES's mission is commitment to conserving Belize's critical habitats and protected species through scientific research and education to prevent further extinction of species Worldwide and to preserve Belize's wildlife for future generations. Protecting vulnerable species particularly the American Crocodile, Crocodylus acutus, and located on the Rio Grande River in southern Belize, ACES is less than one mile by boat to the Bay of Honduras and the pristine waters of the Caribbean.

Vince from ACES prepares to snare a croc that couldn't be caught by conventional means because it's teeth had fallen out from an unknown illness. I was lucky enough to have the opportunity to be there.
