Lucky Strike Elementary School
My old school house!
I'm a Belizean who has just returned home after 47 yrs. of living in the US.
I grew up on the old Northern highway, and attended the Lucky Strike Elementary School. Upon my return last year, I had to see if it was still standing, and yes it is, though only as a Landmark. It's been well preserved considering it's a wooden structure that probably more than 65 yrs. old!
Lucky Strike is the name of the little village that's it's located in. I lived in Cow Head Creek at mile 29, which is 1 1/2 miles from Lucky Strike... Altun Ha is just a couple of miles away!
