Saga Humane Society Pet of the Week

Caricia
Hi!
My name is Caricia. One day a few weeks ago, I was walking along with my
owners, when, all of a sudden, I was on the other side of a chain linked
fence watching the only family I know walk away. Little did I know, I had
been tossed over the fence into a place that they call "Fort Dog".
Apparently this Fort Dog place is where the unwanted, abandoned, lost, or
abused animals here on the island wind up. I had no idea I was one of those!
Well, I have been having some good times since I got here - I got to march
in the Belize Independence Day Parade (who would have thought, some doggy
like me would be that important?!), and I had tons of fun playing with
everyone at the Saga Open Day. I was pretty heartbroken at the end of the
day, though, when I realised that the open day was also an adoption drive --
and nobody wanted me... I guess I will have to resolve myself to being one
of those "unwanted" dogs...
But who knows, someone who was important enough to march in the parade, and
is as sweet and good looking as me -- maybe there is hope for me yet??
I sure do hope so, because if my ears aren't deceiving me, I think that Fort
Dog is going to be under construction soon -- and then what will happen to
me??
Maybe you would like to help by bringing a sweet, friendly, playful new
friend home??
Can't wait to see you at Saga!
