Remodeling continues on
the Lions Clinic
|
In order to provide a
more comfortable atmosphere to its patients, the San Pedro Lions Clinic is
undergoing some extensive renovations. Chairman Baldemar Graniel and his
committee, working closely with the San Pedro Lions Club, agreed that these
much-needed renovations were long overdue to the clinic. The San Pedro Lions
Club is sponsoring the project that is estimated to cost $15,000 to $18,000 upon
its completion. Mr. Eldo Vasquez has been hired as the contractor for the
project. The remodeled clinic will consist of all-tiled
rooms including a respiratory therapy and wound dressing room, an observation
room, two consultation rooms, an X-Ray room, a pharmacy and a records room with
a teller window. The committee is striving to have all these rooms complete with
air-conditioned comfort. The waiting room will also be refurbished and the
wooden door will be replaced with a more modern glass one. All the walls will be
repainted and the bathroom facilities upgraded. The San
Pedro Lions Clinic takes this opportunity to advise all residents of San Pedro
that both Drs. Otto Rodriguez and Lenin Quintana Reyes are available for
consultations Monday to Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 12:00 noon and from 1:00 p.m.
to 5:00 p.m. On Saturdays the clinic is open until 12:00 noon. The doctors are
also available during the weekend for emergencies only.
The San Pedro Lions Club also apologizes for the construction presently going on
but assures the public this is necessary in order to provide better service to
all. Anyone wishing to assist the San Pedro Lions Club with this project may
contact Lion President Flora Ancona or Clinic Chairman Baldemar Graniel.
