Daryella Guerrero to represent Honduras at Costa Maya festival

Miss Daryella Sofia Guerrero Canizales will be representing Honduras in the Reina de la Costa Maya Beauty Pageant on July 21st, 1998.

Miss Guerrero was born on January 6th, 1978, and is 20 years old. She is a computer programmer and hopes to excel in the pageantry industry by winning an international crown some day. Miss Guerrero enjoys reading, listening to music, walking and writing.

Daryella is 5 feet 9 inches, weighs 120 pounds and her measurements are 36, 23, 36. Miss Daryella Guerrero is one of five contestants vying for the title of Reina De La Costa Maya.

Tuesday, July 21st - Guatemala Night: Opening night of the Costa Maya Festival. Performances by EL Ballet Nacional de Instituto Turismo and Los Malecates.

REINA DE LA COSTA MAYA BEAUTY PAGEANT: Five contestants will be vying for the title of Reina de la Costa Maya. Representing Guatemala: Miss Astrid Ramirez; representing El Salvador: Miss Johanna Paulina Sasmay Villacorta; representing Mexico: Miss Barbara Macossay; representing Honduras: Miss Daryella Sofia Guerrero Canizales and representing Belize: Miss Charlotte Romero.

Wednesday, July 22nd - El Salvador Night: Ballet Nacional and the Do Mayor Band.

Thursday, July 23rd - Mexico Night: Ballet de Folklorico de Quintana Roo, Mexico and the CRACK band. A Mariachi Band will also be performing on Mexico Night.

Friday, July 24th - Honduras Night: Groupo de Dansas Folkloricas de Honduras and Grand Banda.

Saturday, July 25th - Belize International Night: Main attraction - Garibaldi and Belize's number one band - Santino's Messengers.

Sunday, July 26th - The Grand Finale: Fireworks and great entertainment including the Unity Band and the Barbara Alonzo's Dance Group.

Tickets for the Costa Maya Festival are now available at Tropical Take Out, Fina's Store, Yeties Store, Martha's Store, Costa Maya Office, Amigo Travel, Lala's Store, Belize Laundromat and Fantasy World. Season passes: adult - $80.00, children - $35.00. Ages 5 to 14 years old will be considered children and may purchase season passes for $35.00. Primary school and high school students must present a school ID. Tickets for Tuesday to Friday nights: $20.00. Saturday night: $40.00. Children under 5 enter free.

The next Costa Maya Festival meeting will be held on June 23rd, at the Paradise Hotel Patio at 7:30 p.m.
