The buildings sit on 6,000 p.s.i. pilings down to bedrock with a 36 inch wide heavy steel reinforced footings 4 feet below the ground level. The units are built with steel reinforced concrete block, with concrete plaster finish on the interior walls, and colorfast "Acroctete" finish on the exterior, for low maintenance. All exterior walls and ceilings are insulated with Styrofoam insulation. Common walls separating the units in building A & C, are double block, each filled with insulation and separated with a 4 inch gap, filled with insulation. This procedure ensures the utmost in privacy. The windows and French doors are "Weathershield" brand, and have double panes filled with argon gas for UV protection.
