Comedian - Chupitos
Natalie Arceo is no stranger to San Pedro. She has been performing here on the island since the age of nine when she first sang the national anthem of Belize at the Dia de San Pedro ceremony. Infact, she is also known as “anthem gyal” by the locals. At thirteen Natalie started to branch out into Spanish ballads and popular songs. She became so well known that she was asked to perform at Mother’s Day events, talent shows, and many festivals. For her four years in high school, Natalie studied and played the keyboard. She joined the school band and they played every year for the San Pedro International Costa Maya Festival. When she graduated and entered St John’s Sixth form, she started learning the guitar and singing in their choir. Adding the skill of the guitar to the many that she possesses, Natalie has become quite the entertainer.
She is a woman who is a teacher by day and a entertaining performer by night. Always remembering to count her blessings, Natalie sings and plays in church while making appearances and performing on the island.
Ms Arceo has recently started to perform her own songs as she has been a writer for many years. Her first single “te amo y adios” got great reviews when she performed it at Take the Lead show earlier this year.
She will be one of the performers to see at the family night for the Costa Maya Festival 2008.
