The Yellow-Backed Mayan Oriole

This is a "Icterus chrysater" Roger Peterson called the one he found in British Honduras the Mayan Oriole. all the modern bird books say its a Yellow-Backed Oriole. I say Yellow-Backed Mayan oriole to its friends! Everybody likes dog food.

The Orange Oriole is common to Ambergris , we have several species of oriole on the island.

Are you referring to the Bananaquit? During the last dry season I had some regular visitors to my little northern place.
