Road north of bridge

Jerry, the supervisor at Reef Village just stopped me as I approached this area and asked me to "lay off the criticism as they had just put $1,000.00 worth of sand in this section of the road." I told him, "Yes, I had watched them start working on it."

I'm not a north-of-the-cut kinda gal, but I must say: Wow. An entire $1,000?

I can never remember which is better . . . safe? . . . or sorry?

Besides the service vehicles of BEL and the police pick up,which is understandable,I have seen huge cargo trucks and a van on the road north of the cut .The big trucks come on the barges but I did see a white van crossing the bridge and it passed me on the road going north after Buena Vista.

Is the water because of the high tides?

$1000 BZ bucks of sand? LOL. Just doesn't go as far as it used to in swampland, I guess.

interesting no-one else has put any sand or fill on the road-Chris Berringfinger/Alexandra/the cloisters-all make money because of the road-then lets get on to the resorts in and around Tres Cocos

I heard that the people building next to Sweet Basils are the ones building across from Reef Village - next to Just Dave. Between them they have raised the land above sea level and the sea pours in to cover the road.
What's that old saying about pouring water down a rat hole?
All the sand on the island will not solve this problem until something is done about the base.

Well, I am not going to be the one to tell Harriette who is building next door to Sweet Basil. Whoever does - be sure to DUCK.
