:-)
These photos are from The Bowen Ranch.
I've never seen so much care and concern for the environment as this place. Concern for Wild Life seem to be equal as the products of the ranch. That's a rare attitude for a ranch.
Birds ,Deer, and jungle cats living with cows and horses...They even have wild Tapir.

i love em. there are two here in eugene at the raptor center that i volunteer at and when i feed em, i can't leave their enclosure til they untie both my shoelaces. its part of our ritual.

i play with them a bunch. they are soooo big on your arm. heavy. turkeyish for sure. make my macaws' weight feel like NOTHING. with one on each arm its like gym class torture. how long can you hold em up?

Vulture has the best sense of smell in the kingdom.
Featherless heads and neck on a bird mean only one thing,
and that's enough to keep me at a distance ;-)

Its spooky to go to google to find information on a subject and find yourself being quoted.
