San Pedro's fastest construction project EVER. This clock tower sprung from the ground and is now equipped with the clock and the two giant monitors. I wonder if there will be a big ceremony and grand opening party...

There are some elaborate but pre-rusted doors and small Mayan "carvings" being glued on.

Answers - NO and Yes (respectively).

Perhaps we are seeing the beginnings of a pedestrian mall on Front Street? That could be wonderful --- but proper planning would be needed to have it work - several key elements being fewer and/or smaller vehicles, parking lots, and provisions for those who find walking difficult to get around. Proper planning is in short supply at this time.

PS - the big black spaces on the sides bode ominously for jumbo-tron-ism.
Sorry, but IMHO Mr. Hedrick has terrible esthetic taste - can't think of one person who has responded positively to his other signs ........

But the paint job on his plane is stunning.

I thought the clock was supposed to say 4:20!
That is what the diagrams depicted.

Middle Street and all of the other side streets are just to narrow to handle the traffic if they close front street all together. And those black spots already contain the big screens.

This is even more beautiful than I had envisioned.

Think I can rent some space on the jumbotron on behalf of UNIBAM???
