============
It is with deep sadness that we announce the sudden and unexpected passing of one of 0ur very own, a soldier, hard worker and brother: Basil "Mani" Gibson. We are heart broken, as the loss of Mani is felt deeply by our PUP family. For many elections, wins or losses, Mani stood by our side, proudly holding his flag, never losing hope that one day, we would bring the change that we rightly deserved to this country. For Mr Andre and our executive, he was the go to person, a great support and dependable friend. We will miss him gravely. Over the past few days, Mani fought for his life in Belize City and his family never left his side. We all prayed that he would come home but God had other plans.
We extend our condolences to his beloved family, who did all they could, and never left his side. They have lost a great man.
His absence is felt already. Rest brother, there is no more pain, in the arms of your creator. Vaya con dios Mani! Te nos fuiste, y nunca te olvidaremos!
