Jim Scott said that the roads are technically flooded in that they have water on them. But they are passable easily in trucks. Cars that are lower to the ground will have difficulty in certain areas.

He said they need supplies - but that they are coming down by road with people like Ian Anderson.

There is also pleanty of fuel in town.

They are not cut off. So, anyone wanting to drive down and help is more than welcome. But please come self-sifficent (with tents, food and water) so that you are not using the resorces that you are bringing as relief.
