This is a fantastic cave and Emilio was a very good and helpful guide. I was wearing Tiva like sandals which were not ideal. I recommend hiking boots or the type of sandals specifically designed for hiking and climbing. I was able to do OK after a bit of a shaky start. Emilio helped me through the tricky parts for a shortleg like me. Those that were wearing running shoes had to stop every once in a bit and empty the rocks out of their shoes. Being able to swim, not being afraid of water or dark places are a definite asset for making this trip.

Still, if I can do it, anyone with a bit of strength can do it. It is the best thing aside from scuba diving that I have experienced in years.

A fish and a bird can fall in love, but where will they build their nest?
