excerpts from the Tropical Prediction Center)

TODAY’S WEATHER

Very stable conditions will affect the North West
Caribbean including Belize.

Ambergris Caye, San Pedro and Caye Caulker will
experience for the next 24 hrs:

Mostly hazy sunshine today and fair weather tonight.

The high temperature will be around high 80 degrees F
after midday. Today winds will blow from the East 5 to
15 Kts.

The sea state will be slight to light chop. Seas will
be 3 to 5 feet beyond the reef.

The outlook is for continuing fair and hazy weather
through Monday.

ATLANTIC. ZONAL WESTERLY FLOW COVERS THE AREA N OF
15N. STRONG SUBSIDENCE IS EXPANDING EWARD ACROSS THE
CARIBBEAN NOW COVERING THE AREA WEST OF 67W KEEPING
SKIES FAIR-MOSTLY CLEAR.

FAIR WEATHER WILL PREVAIL ACROSS THE W CARIBBEAN
TOMORROW. MODERATE NE WINDS OVER THE CARIB WEST OF
70W.

Central Caribbean:

A 1014 MB LOW IS LINGERING JUST N OF PUERTO RICO NEAR
19N66W WITH A SURFACE TROUGH DRAPED SOUTH
SOUTHWESTWARD FROM THE LOW TO 15N70W MARKED BY A
NARROW LINE OF CLOUDS AND POSSIBLE SHOWERS.
DOPPLER RADAR FROM SAN JUAN PUERTO RICO INDICATES
SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS SCATTERED ACROSS THE ISLAND
WITH THE MOST SOLID AREA OF RAIN TO THE NORTHEAST OF
THE ISLAND.

SCATTERED SHOWERS/TSTMS REMAIN OVER HISPANIOLA
ENHANCED BY THE LOCAL TOPOGRAPHY. THIS AREA OF
UNSETTLED WEATHER SHOULD DIMINISH LATER THIS WEEK AS
THE UPPER TROUGH TO THE NORTH OF THE AREA PULLS AWAY
AND RIDGING BUILDS IN.

Eastern Caribbean:

FAIR WEATHER EXTENDS ACROSS THIS ENTIRE REGION EXCEPT
FOR THE UNSETTLED WEATHER ACROSS THE E CARIBBEAN AND
CENTRAL ATLANTIC.
