Would you please announce in your paper our next eye mission trip? We hope that with increased public awareness more people may benefit from our presence. There will be two doctors coming, myself and Dr. Zobal-Ratner, who is a pediatric ophthalmologist. This will be our schedule:
Monday April 14:
Dr. Beer: adult eye clinic at the Polyclinic: patients with diabetes, glaucoma, cataracts. This is not a refraction/eye glasses clinic.
Dr. Zobal-Ratner: children screening at Holy Cross School (reserved for Holy Cross students only)
Tuesday April 15:
Dr. Beer: retina clinic and laser surgery at BCVI in Belize City. Patients from San Pedro who need laser surgery need to come to BCVI.
Dr. Zobal-Ratner: children screening at Holy Cross School (opened to any children from the island who can come to Holy Cross School)
Our next visit will be in the beginning of July.
