General Situation:
Belize NMS: A gentle northeasterly airflow prevails over the area. An approaching tropical wave will support a few showers or thunderstorms this weekend.
Advisories: None.
24-hour forecast: Mostly sunny today, partly cloudy tonight and sunny with cloudy spells tomorrow. Showers or thunderstorms will be isolated except for a few more over the Maya Mountains tonight, southern coast later tonight and inland tomorrow afternoon.
Winds: North to northwest becoming north to northeast at 5-10 knots.

General Outlook: For Sunday and Sunday night is for skies to be cloudy at times along with a few showers or thunderstorms mainly over the sea in the morning, over inland areas in the afternoon, and over the coast in the night.
Tropical Weather Outlook: At 3:00am Tropical Storm Gaston was located over the Atlantic near latitude 27.9N longitude 52.0W, or about 820 miles east-southeast of Bermuda. Gaston was moving northwestward at 15 mph with maximum sustained winds of 65 mph. Also a weak area of low pressure located near the central Bahamas and Cuba remains disorganized. This system is moving slowly west-northwestward - at around 10 mph - and only has a small chance of becoming a tropical depression during the next couple of days as it moves into the eastern Gulf of Mexico.
