From Belmopan...

Although it looks overcast conditions and no surface wind, the easterly Caribbean wind is blowing strongly over Belize, but at night time, not down to surface. There is high level air coming down from the north, clashing with the easterly Caribbean puffy clouds in some places, causing swell-ups, in some places, but only a few small rain areas, most out at sea. HURRICANE MARIA has dealt a cruel blow to Dominica, it landed in the south end of the island, then turned or wobbled right up through the island and left from the north end.

Looks like today will be sunny with white clouds, and possible occasional rain shower.
