For quite some time now, there has been large areas of fog covering northern Guatamala and southern Mexico and that area of fog has been extending in a broad band through central Cayo district nearly to Belize City. The pattern is nearly the same now for about two weeks. This fog lifts in the early morning to give overcast sky. This morning, there is also some fog over the mountains and chunky easterly Caribbean clouds coming in. But clear skies to the north, north of Belize City, but there will be patches of Caribbean cloud coming in to any part of Belize during the day. There is also air movement, probably cool air movement from the NW, this appears to be associated with a cool front crossing the Yucatan.
Looks like today will be largely sunny, but with Caribbean clouds developing, could be the odd rain showers.
