A round piece of white cloth, with the BAYMEN Coat of Arms inserted was sown in the center of the Pale Blue Cloth. This proposed FLAG was presented to the Belizean people, for their approval. With the exception of COLONIAL MINDED people, it received the approval of the majority, as was seen in the results of the Elections that followed, when the PUP swept all elections.
