On Friday, November 29, 2019, the San Pedro Town Council held its 2019 Municipal Children's Fair at the Central Park to conclude its activities of Universal Children's Month and also it was a part of our 35th Township Anniversary celebration.

Mistress of Ceremony and VP of the CAB, Miss Ninel Pacheco was full of energy as she welcomed students of New Horizon S.D.A. School to perform the National Anthem which was then followed by a student of Isla Bonita Elementary School, who offered everyone with a prayer.

Opening the event was Mayor Daniel Guerrero who offered the welcome address, where he wished everyone a happy universal children's month.

Up next, the students of Ambergris Caye Elementary School performed a skit where the message was the importance of school in a child's life.

hInvited guest of the Municipal Children's Fair was the graceful, Hon. Senator, Dr. Carla Barnett from the Ministry of Labor, Local Government and Rural Development. Hon. Barnett was the invited speaker and she shared with everyone the rapid progress the Town of San Pedro has made; especially in development.

Up next was the final performance of the event, which was poem recited by two students of the Holy Cross Anglican school, which was a poem of San Pedro Town.

Following the Minister's speech, President of the Child Advisory Body, Miss Caroline Sersland, gave the vote of thanks, where she thanked everyone for participating and being a part of the event.

And lastly to close the ceremonies, the group took a final group picture to celebrate their achievements that had completed throughout the month.

After the Ceremony, the Municipal Children was official declared open
