What is happening is complex.. . Unlike a normal rotating tropical storm, which normally comes down to ground level, this one,TS CRISTOBAL, still has the easterly Caribbean winds under it, but even that gets complicated.. . At ground level over Belmopan the Caribbean wind, white arrows, is from the ESE, but a little higher from the south. The rotating storm low down, as per normal in the northern hemisphere is rotating anti clockwise, so now using brown arrows for that, but it spins out the high level winds at great height in a clockwise rotation direction, shown with orange arrows..
