Present Condition: Mostly clear except for in the deep south. A weak tropical wave is approaching the area.
Advisories: *A small craft caution will go into effect this afternoon for occasionally gusty winds and locally rough seas, especially near heavy showers and thunderstorms.*
Cloudy at times with a few showers and thunderstorms mainly over the south this morning, spreading to most places by afternoon. Then, activity will become isolated with a few more affecting the south tonight.

There is a medium chance of Sargassum affecting beaches, especially over northern and central areas of the country during the coming days with moderate impacts. San Pedro has a pretty good amount that has come in the last couple days.
Some cloudy spells with showers and thunderstorms being generally isolated on Wednesday, then mainly over the south Wednesday night.
Tropical Weather Outlook:
Tropical cyclone formation is not expected in the North Atlantic, Caribbean Sea and Gulf of Mexico during the next 48 hours.

The Caribbean Sea
There are several tropical waves
moving across the basin. Except for the Gulf of Honduras and adjacent waters between Panama
and Colombia where scattered showers and tstms are observed, the
remainder basin is under the influence of a Saharan Air Layer
event, which is likely limiting visibility E of 80W.
The pressure gradient between the Atlantic ridge N of the area
and lower pressure over northern Colombia will maintain fresh to
strong trade winds in the south-central Caribbean through the
weekend. Fresh to strong winds are expected in the Gulf of
Honduras tonight and Wed night. A tropical wave over the western
Caribbean will move out of the basin through tonight. Another
tropical wave farther east in the central Atlantic will approach
the eastern Caribbean by Thu night, and move across the central
Caribbean during the weekend.
