Present Condition: Mostly clear skies in the north, more cloudy in the south. Mostly clear and windy in San Pedro, a few clouds on the horizon. Fair and warm conditions will prevail over the area.
Advisories: *A small craft caution remains in effect for occasionally gusty winds and locally rough seas. HEAT ALERT: Residents, especially those living in the interior of the country, are advised to stay hydrated and avoid outdoor activities as much as possible.*

Sargassum Forecast from April 13 to April 21:
Latest satellite imagery suggests that sargassum is increasing over the area and there is a medium to high chance that some mats could affect local beaches in the coming days. San Pedro has a high probability and a moderate impact.
Tropical Weather Outlook:
There are no organized tropical features across the Atlantic basin at this time. Updates will resume at the beginning of the 2021 hurricane season (June 1).

The Caribbean Sea
A weak pressure gradient prevails over the Caribbean waters.
Moderate winds prevail over much of the Caribbean waters, except
fresh winds in the Gulf of Honduras. Seas are 2 to 3 ft across
the northern Caribbean, including the Windward Passage, and 3-5
ft elsewhere.
An Ashfall Advisory remains in effect for La Soufriere Volcano
on St. Vincent near 13.3N 61.2W. Mariners transiting the nearby
waters should exercise caution.
Moderate to fresh trade winds will prevail across the Caribbean
through Sat. SE winds will increase in the NW Caribbean Fri
night and Sat. Gentle to moderate winds are expected elsewhere.
