Present Condition: Mostly cloudy skies this morning throughout the country as a tropical wave moves through. Mostly cloudy in San Pedro with wind and rain. Moist and unstable conditions continue to dominate our weather.
Advisories: A flood watch is in effect for the possibility of flooding over low-lying and flood prone areas.
24-hour forecast:
Cloudy skies today with sunny breaks, along with out breaks of showers, isolated thunderstorms and periods of rain developing mainly along coastal areas at first and then moving over inland areas by afternoon. Tonight and tomorrow morning skies will be cloudy with some outbreaks of showers, thunderstorms and periods of rain developing over most areas.

For Thursday and Thursday night is for cloudy skies with some outbreaks of showers, thunderstorms and periods of rain developing over most areas during Thursday, then decreasing on Thursday night.
Sargassum Forecast from October 19 to October 27:
Latest satellite imagery suggests that sargassum in our area continues to decrease. However, there is still a small chance that a few mats could drift into some areas during the next few days. San Pedro has a low probability and a minimal impact.
Tropical Weather Outlook:
Tropical Cyclone formation is not expected in the North Atlantic, Caribbean Sea and Gulf of Mexico, during the next 48 hours.

The Caribbean Sea
A weak pressure pattern exists across the Caribbean waters.
Moderate to fresh winds are noted over the central and eastern
Caribbean south of 14N. Gentle to moderate winds prevail
elsewhere. Seas are in the 3-5 ft range over the south central
Caribbean as well as the NW Caribbean. Seas in the 2-4 ft range
prevail elsewhere.
For the forecast, high pressure building N of the area will bring
fresh to locally strong trades E of the Windward Islands through
Sun. During this period, moderate to fresh winds are expected over
the south-central Caribbean, with winds reaching locally strong
in the Venezuela basin. Gentle to moderate tradewinds will prevail
elsewhere.
